This event is the keystone of our Black August celebration, which honors freedom fighters who are fighting to dismantle the prison-industrial complex, and whose vision, tenacity, and deep love for our communities are leading us toward the horizon of abolition. It also coincides with the publication and distribution of our Sixth Edition of the Jailhouse Lawyers Handbook in conjunction with the National Lawyers Guild

This event is free and open to all. ASL interpretation and live transcription will be provided.
