A growing protest movement concerned by the Israeli government’s war on Gaza  has emerged in the United States. While political leaders in the United States remain widely committed to galvanizing unchecked support of the State of Israel and arming its military without condition, those protesting these actions and calling for an immediate ceasefire are being met with extreme oppression, facing expulsion from their universities, loss of jobs, doxxing and, at times, arrest and violence from police.

The targeting of those calling for Palestinian rights and critiquing Israeli government policy has a long history in the United States. Join us for a timely conversation that will explore the many forms that the repression of dissent related to  Israel-Palestine has taken over the past decade, ranging from anti-boycott legislation to the arrest of student protesters, and hear from leading experts about the state of dissent in this current moment.
