CCR Executive Director Vince Warren will join a CLE panel and program sponsored by the New York City Bar Association. The program will explore the role of international human rights standards and strategies in efforts to advance equality and social justice in the U.S. Speakers will discuss how U.S. lawyers are leveraging human rights in efforts to reform domestic laws and policies regarding solitary confinement, profiling, and access to healthcare, as well as the impact of this work on policymakers.

The keynote speaker is Gay McDougall, distinguished scholar-in-residence, Leitner Center on International Law and Justice, Fordham University School of Law.

Panelists: Vince Warren, Executive Director, Center for Constitutional Rights; Katrina Anderson, Senior Human Rights Counsel, Center for Reproductive Rights; and Jamil Dakwar, Human Rights Program Director, American Civil Liberties Union. The moderator is Risa Kaufman, Executive Director, Human Rights Institute, Columbia University School of Law.
