On Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. ET, join the Center for Constitutional Rights for appellate argument in the D.C. Court of Appeals in the case Bronner v. Duggan. This case was filed against the American Studies Association (ASA) and ten individuals, including our client Steven Salaita, in an attempt to stop and punish the ASA's Resolution to endorse and honor the call of Palestinian civil society for a boycott of Israeli academic institutions. This case is part of the Center for Constitutional Rights' efforts to support activists, academics, and organizations facing legal attacks for their advocacy on behalf of Palestinian rights. More information about the case is available here.
The Court of Appeals argument on the lower court's denial of the anti-SLAPP motion will be held via videoconference — the argument can be watched in real-time here.
