CCR Advocacy Program Manager Nahal Zamani will speak about LGBTQIA persecution and criminalization on a panel discussion presented in conjunction with the opening of an art exhibit. Exhibit artists include Juan Jose Barboza-Gubo and Andrew Mroczek, whose photography documents social justice struggles of LBGTQIA communities in Peru. Additional panelists include artists along with a roster of experts in the fields of international human rights, social justice, Latin American studies, and gender and queer studies.
Panel discussion runs from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
