Masha Katz Baer

Deputy Director of Development

Masha Katz Baer is the Deputy Director of Development at the Center for Constitutional Rights and has two decades of professional experience in the non-profit sector. She began her career managing global travel programs for volunteers and human rights advocates at American Jewish World Service (AJWS). Masha joined the development team at the Innocence Project, where she led the individual giving program for several years. Her work was focused on connecting donors to former clients who had been wrongfully convicted and were advocating for systemic changes to the criminal legal system. Most recently, she worked at Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) as the Director of Individual Giving and Board Liaison. At PHR she developed and implemented the fundraising strategy and managed the planning of two virtual galas, worked closely with the board of directors on their giving and fundraising, and managed a portfolio of supporters. 

Masha has a Masters’ of Science in International Relations and Affairs from The New School and a Bachelor of Arts in International and Global Studies from the University of Oregon.
