Remy Burton

Bertha Justice Fellow

Remy Burton is a Bertha Justice Fellow at the Center for Constitutional Rights. He works on discriminatory policing, racial justice, and challenging mass incarceration. Prior to coming to the Center for Constitutional Rights, he was a law intern and a clinical intern for the New York University School of Law Civil Rights Clinic and The Legal Aid Society, as well as a law student fellow at the Center on Race, Inequality, and the Law. He has worked on issues relating to education equity, mass incarceration, the use of excessive force by the police, and housing equity. Remy is a graduate of Princeton University and New York University School of Law, where he was Root-Tilden Kern scholar and editor-in-chief of the Review of Law and Social Change.
