Art producer Tre Borden will lead a discussion with LGBTQ+ creatives who are using their distinct perspectives and practices to further discussion on the future of the LGBTQ+ equality and other social movements centering inclusivity. The panel will also feature flags from the art installation Colors of Progress by artist Phil America which has been featured on Capitol Mall in Sacramento, Santa Monica and West Hollywood for LA PRIDE and will culminate in New York during World Pride celebrations. Qween B. Amor is a trans-queer performance artist that utilizes various mediums of performance to send a message of love, freedom, truth and beauty to the general public.
Phil America is a California-raised artist, writer and activist and the artist behind Colors of Progress.
Richard Brookshire, III is a queer Haitian-American writer and political commentator whose work focuses on race and identity politics.
Chinyere Ezie is a Staff Attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights, where she advocates for racial and gender justice; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI) rights; and challenges governmental abuses of power. She is also the originator of #BoycottPrada.
