CCR joined a coalition of 350 local, state, and national immigrant, civil rights, human rights, faith-based, and anti-poverty organizations to urge Congress to oppose the Criminal Alien Gang Member Removal Act, H.R. 3697. This legislation creates a sweeping new definition of the term “criminal gang” and attaches draconian immigration penalties to this definition.
