Iraq War Over? A Discussion on Reparations, Contractors, and Veterans

Date: Saturday, March 17
Time: 10:00 am
Room: W602

Presented by CCR and Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW), this panel will highlight themes of accountability and challenge the notion that the troop withdrawal from Iraq means our movement against the war is over. Panelists will discuss the need to focus on reparations for Iraqi victims, the continued presence of thousands of private military contractors in Iraq – for whom courts have yet to put in place any system of accountability – and the devastation the war has caused for Iraq war veterans and their families.
