Join CCR Staff Attorney Maria LaHood for a panel about CCR’s efforts to secure accountability for torture by the U.S. government and private military contractors.
Speakers include Maria LaHood (CCR senior staff attorney),Karen Greenberg (Director of the Center on Law and Security at NYU School of Law), Larry Siems (author of the ACLU’s Torture Report), Zeke Johnson (Counter Terror With Justice Campaign, Amnesty International USA ), and Jeremy Varon (activist with Witness Against Torture).
*Special guest speaker: Matthew Alexander, a former senior U.S. military interrogator who has written about torture and abuse of detained men in Iraq.
