Join the Center for Constitutional Rights and Cornell University Law School for "Maintaining and Protecting Racial Justice in 2010", in a discussion featuring CCR Attorney Darius Charney. The event will take place at Cornell University Law School on Thursday, April 22nd from 12:30-1:30pm in Myron Taylor Hall of Cornell, room 276.

In an age when the U.S. Congress can unconstitutionally de-fund a community organization for punitive reasons without a trial, when the New York City Police Department routinely stops and frisks African American and Latino residents on the basis of ethnicity and the Fire Department of New York was able to engage in illegal, racially discriminatory testing practices, CCR continues to lead the fight for racial, social and economic justice.

Join Darius Charney for a candid discussion on the CCR's racial justice litigation, including our current injunction victory in ACORN v. USA, and our lawsuits against the New York City Police Department and the Fire Department of New York.

Event time: 12:30p.m.-1:30p.m.
