Join Jewish Currents on September 15 for Jewish Currents Live: A Day of Politics and Culture. This ticketed event will be a full day of reflection, conversation, and performance, taking place both in person in NYC and virtually. All ticket proceeds will be donated to Palestine Children Relief Fund and Palestine Legal to support families displaced in Gaza and student activists facing repression.

Center for Constitutional Rights Senior Staff Attorney Diala Shamas will join the panel “International Law, Pressure, and Israel Policy” to discuss the international levers that might pressure Israel to cease its wanton destruction of Gaza. Additional panelists include:

  • Daniel Levy, president of the US/Middle East Project
  • Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur
  • Robert Malley, lead negotiator of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal
  • Zane Dangor, director-general of the Department of International Relationships and Cooperation for the South African government, and one of the leaders in the country’s case against Israel at the International Court of Justice
