Center for Constitutional Rights Welcomes New Development Director

September 17, 2024, New York – Today, the Center for Constitutional Rights welcomes Masha Katz Baer as its new Director of Development. Katz Baer – who was hired as Deputy Director in May 2023 and appointed Interim Director in November 2023 – has more than two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector.  

“I’m thrilled to have Masha in this new role,”  said Executive Director Vince Warren.  “She is strategic and a skilled fundraiser, and I have no doubt that she will take the Center for Constitutional Rights to the next level in fundraising under her leadership.”

In her new role, Katz Baer will serve on the organization’s management team and oversee a department of eight people, spearheading efforts to invest in deeper connections and relationships with funders and create engagement opportunities for donors. Previously, she was Director of Individual Giving and Board Liaison at Physicians for Human Rights. She has also worked for the Innocence Project and American Jewish World Service.
