N.J. Muslims’ concerns remain in NYPD spying case

A New Jersey business owner who claims he was harmed by the New York Police Department’s surveillance of Muslim groups praised a settlement Thursday that will strengthen safeguards against illegal police spying and install a civilian monitor to oversee the department’s investigations.
