CCR's Executive Director Vince Warren will take the stage at Grammy award-winning musician Esperanza Spalding's Spotlight on Guantánamo concert on Wednesday, January 29. During this night of performance and discussion, Vince will talk about CCR's work representing men detained at Guantánamo, and introduce audiences to the stories of some of our clients who remain unjustly detained.

In November 2013, as part of her ongoing campaign to take a stand for justice, Esperanza Spalding launched her new music video titled We Are America to urge Congress to do more to close Guantánamo. The video was released days before U.S. Senators voted on a bill that would make it easier for President Obama to finally close Guantánamo. This bill passed.
