Conditions at immigration detention centers are often atrocious, but Black immigrants face unique abuse solely because of their race. Reports from several detention centers in the South have documented this discriminatory treatment. This abuse often occurs out of sight, with little accountability for the officials who perpetuate the abuse.

On Thursday, November 18, at 12:00 p.m. ET, join experts from the American Immigration Council, the Black Alliance for Just Immigration, and the Center for Constitutional Rights (Samah Sisay) for a webinar on the extensive mistreatment of Black immigrants in detention.
