Justice and Accountability for Torture

Please join Center for Constitutional Rights Staff Attorney Katherine Gallagher and Temple Law Professor David Kairys for a discussion of justice and accountability. Katherine Gallagher will present case studies of key CCR cases, including Arar v. Ashcroft, that seek to hold those responsible for torture and extraordinary rendition accountable for their crimes She will also discuss our cases filed on behalf of Iraqi victims and survivors of torture and other crimes by military contractors, including Saleh v. Titan, Albazzaz and Aziz v. Blackwater, and Abtan v. Blackwater.

Katherine Gallagher will also discuss CCR's 100 Days campaign that calls for restoration of the Constitution and accountability for torture and other violations of law, within the context of these cases.
