  • Andy Worthington (freelance investigative journalist, the author of The Guantánamo Files: The Stories of the 774 Detainees in America’s Illegal Prison and the co-director (with Polly Nash) of the documentary film, "Outside the Law: Stories from Guantanamo"
  • Frida Berrigan (organizer with Witness Against Torture - panel moderator)

Transportation

The closest Metro stop to American University, Washington College of Law is Tenleytown/AU on the Red Line. Public Metro buses run on regular schedules from Tenley Circle to WCL campus, less than a mile away. Metro can give you information on specific routes and timetables for its buses and subways. Call its information service at (202) 637-7000 or visit the website of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

From the Tenleytown/AU Metro stop you can also pick up the American University Shuttle. The Red Route goes straight from Tenleytown to WCL.  

Parking
Parking is available at the Katzen Arts Center.  The Katzen Arts Center Parking Garage is located at 44th and Massachusetts Ave, and is a quick 10 minute walk down Mass Ave to WCL, or you can hop on the Shuttle at the stop right outside the Katzen parking garage. 

There is also limited metered parking around the law school, and the maximum amount of time permitted is typically 2 hours.
