CCR has proudly stood up for LGBTQI people and communities for decades, and we’re very excited that this year for the first time we will be marching as an official contingent in the annual NYC Pride March on Sunday, June 28. We will be joined by our friends and clients from Sexual Minorities Uganda, supporters and staff.
You are heartily invited to join us!
The Pride March is an opportunity to commemorate the Stonewall Riots that ushered in the modern queer rights movement, celebrate LGBTQI communities and rededicate ourselves to the unfinished struggle for full equality.
Meet up for CCR’s contingent is at 10:00 a.m. on 41st street between Madison and Fifth Avenue. Our spot in formation is Section 0, Group 6. Fifth Avenue will be closed early that morning so please enter from the east side through Madison Avenue.
