Join CCR President Michael Ratner for a special event sponsored by the Lannan Foundation as part of their lecture series on political, economic, environmental and human rights issues.

Michael will discuss the U.S.’s continuing violations of fundamental rights post-9/11, from Guantánamo to here at home, and its reliance on war and militarism, which produces the very terrorism that excuses the denial of rights. Michael will also speak about how people are rising up for democracy and peace. Come learn how you can support CCR’s cases and advocacy as well as the broader social justice movement.
