Event: On May 31, 2010, the peaceful international six-boat flotilla, carrying humanitarian aid and seeking to break the siege of Gaza, was raided by Israeli forces, resulting in the death of nine activists; in the wake of the one year anniversary of this raid, Mrs. Sally Kader of the US Federation for Middle East Peace is sponsoring and moderating a briefing on the Gaza Flotilla Raid and the ongoing blockade of Gaza.

-Professor Dogğan: Father of 18-year old Furkan Dogğan, the only U.S. citizen killed during the attack. He will be assisted by his Turkish lawyer, Ugur Sevgili
- Richard Cook: Director of UNRWA Operations, will offer his perspectives on the larger policy issues around the blockade, the current situation in Gaza, and the impact of the blockade
- Katherine Gallagher: A lawyer from the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) will cover the legal ramifications of the blockade and raid
