CCR Senior Staff Attorney Maria LaHood will participate in a panel discussion at the Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) 2013 Convention.

After more than ten years of occupations, drone strikes, torture campaigns and ecological devastation, IVAW continues to organize and fight against US militarism. The annual convention is a space where members across the country will converge in one location to determine the future of the organization. As a part of that conversation, Maria will speak on a public panel as an ally giving her thoughts on the future of resistance and the veterans' movement.

Other allies of IVAW on the panel will include Warrior Writers, Justseeds, National Nurses United, STOP and Courage to Resist.
