Administration Calls for Action on Detainees

After the Center for Constitutional Rights' major victory in Boumediene v. Bush, the Bush administration is trying to prevent the courts from moving forward with the Guantanamo detainees' habeas petitions by getting Congress to involve themselves in setting the rules for the trials, which would only create further, unnecessary delays.
