Communications Coordinator
Prior to coming to the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) in January 2004, Jen Nessel worked as a writer, editor and organizer. She served as the communications director of the Coalition for the Homeless and managed the anti-war events the Lysistrata Project and Operation Strangelove. Her articles have appeared in publications including The New York Times, The Nation, Newsday, Self, Lingua Franca, and Salon. As an undergraduate, she was a founding trainer of the Grass Roots Organizing Workshops and ran a rape crisis center.
