Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is a day to memorialize those who have been killed as a result of anti-transgender violence and bring attention to the continued brutality endured by the trans and gender-expansive members of our community. TDOR is also a time for us to gather as a community in support and mutual healing. The day invites us to renew our commitment to deeply caring for one another and resolving to work together to end the injustices trans people worldwide are continually facing. Transgender and gender-expansive folks have always and will always exist, and The Center will be there to support them.

Legacy: Honoring Our Trancestors, Celebrating Their Lives

Join us for a vigil to come together in solidarity and hope, to lift up the lives we have lost to hate violence, and celebrate our powerful community through cultural practices and healing work. This vigil will feature words and art from our transgender brothers and sisters along with reflections from The Center.
