Daniel Strum is the Database and Online Giving Manager at the Center for Constitutional Rights, where he manages and maintains the Constituency Relationship Management (CRM) system powering the organization’s communications, advocacy, and development strategies. A lifelong technical wizard, Daniel built his first website in 1998. Daniel also has a passion for social justice and in the mid 2000s started using his technical skills to help grassroots activists become more effective. Since 2004, first as a volunteer and then as a freelance consultant, he has built, managed, and maintained websites using open-source CMSs (Content Management Systems) integrated with online CRMs for activist groups and nonprofit organizations.
