Advocacy and Events Associate
Meejin Richart is the Advocacy and Events Associate at the Center for Constitutional Rights. She coordinates movement support at CCR and produces advocacy and cultural events. Her expertise is in community organizing around police brutality and U.S. militarism. Currently, Meejin supports family members of people killed by the NYPD and conducts Know Your Rights and Cop Watch trainings for communities. Most recently, she was a member of CAAAV Organizing Asian Communities, Justice for Akai Gurley Family committee, API People’s Solidarity network, Bushwick CopWatch team, and Poongmul Movement Builders. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Critical Social Thought.
