Advocacy and Events Associate
Meejin Richart is the Advocacy and Events Associate at the Center for Constitutional Rights. She works closely with the legal and advocacy teams on SMUG v. Lively and Floyd v. City of New York, and also coordinates movement support at CCR and produces organizational advocacy events. Her expertise is in community organizing around police brutality and U.S. militarism. She is a member of CAAAV Organizing Asian Communities, CAAAV representative to the Justice for Akai Gurley Family committee, and member of the Poongmul Movement Builders. Prior to coming to the Center for Constitutional Rights, she worked at CFY-New York City, Wing Luke Museum of the Asian/Pacific/American Experience, the Defenders Association, and Seattle City Council. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Critical Social Thought.
