Ken Montenegro

Technology Director

Ken Montenegro is the Technology Director at the Center for Constitutional Rights. As the technology director, Ken is responsible for ensuring technology is used to advance the programmatic objectives of the Center for Constitutional Rights. Prior to coming to the Center for Constitutional Rights, Ken was the technology director at Asian Americans Advancing Justice Los Angeles. He is a co-founder of the Stop LAPD Spying Coalition and of the Radical Connections Network. Ken is a graduate of the Peoples College of Law, Co-Chair of Mayfirst Movement Technology, and former Vice President of the National Lawyers Guild. He is a long-time activist with grassroots communities and movements, in particular around immigration and policing.

Ken has appeared on Democracy Now!, presented at the Internet Freedom Festival, taught at Peoples College of Law, and is published in McSweeney’s: The End of Trust.
