On Friday, July 31, at 12:00 p.m. ET, Center for Constitutional Rights Executive Director Vince Warren will join New York State Senator James Sanders Jr. and several community partners via Facebook Live to discuss the types of groups who sabotage successful demonstrations. 

Following the brutal police killings of George Floyd and other Black people over the past few months, there have been many examples of unrest. The discussion will examine how and why certain groups or organizations take peaceful protests of injustice and transform them into chaos. This conversation will include leading experts on the development of this phenomenon.

Additional panelists joining the conversation will be Lecia Brooks (Chief of Staff for the Southern Poverty Law Center); Reverend Mark Thompson (On-Air Host at Makeitplain.com); and Spike Moss (Civil Rights Leader).
