On Monday, February 22nd, the Center for Global Justice will be hosting a webinar in which Center for Constitutional Rights Executive Director Vince Warren and Senior Staff Attorney Omar Farah will trace the implementation and effects of the unitary executive theory and so-called national security justifications from the Bush administration through the Trump administration, using as examples illegal detention in Guantánamo, the use of drone warfare, stripping of asylum rules, and challenges to Black Lives Matter protestors. They will also speak to social movement demands being made on the current Biden administration.
