The Second Tuesday Lecture Series at The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center will bring together an international panel that will tell us about the battles our brothers and sisters are fighting and the celebrations they are enjoying around the world.

CCR Senior Staff Attorney Pam Spees will join a panel discussion to discuss SMUG v. Livelya lawsuit against Scott Lively, a U.S.-based anti-gay extremist, for his role in the persecution of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI) community in Uganda. SMUG, represented by CCR, is suing Scott Lively for his involvement in a conspiracy with Ugandan anti-gay leaders to systematically deprive the LGBTI community of their fundamental rights in violation of international law.
