Please join us in court on February 14th for a status conference in Aref v. Holder, Center for Constitutional Rights' longstanding case challenging the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ “Communication Management Units.(CMUs)”.

Our Senior Staff Attorney Rachel Meeropol will urge the Court to decide whether the Bureau of Prisons violated the Constitution by sending prisoners to these prison units without adequate procedural protections. It is our stance that the CMUs are discriminatory prison units that impose severe restrictions on prisoners’ communications with the outside world.

*We advise showing up 30 minutes early to allow time to get through security. ID is also recommended.
