"The fight to fix the NYPD's racist and unconstitutional "stop and frisk" policy wasn't just fought by lawyers in federal court, and elected officials at City Hall, and big organizations mobilizing millions. It was also fought by countless everyday New Yorkers, who worked together with their neighbors to push back against police bent on violating their rights.

On Thursday, September 12th, at 6:30PM , at the Manhattan Neighborhood Network El Barrio Firehouse, 175 E 14th Street, New York, NY 10029 (Between Lexington and 3rd Aves), the Video Crew at Picture the Homeless will premiere its new film about that fight, and just a few of the homeless folks who were involved."
