Join CCR for a pre-argument event at Georgetown Law School on Tuesday, December 4 and then come to the Supreme Court the next day for the oral argument and a vigil in support of the men at Guantanamo.

Join the Center for Constitutional Rights and the Supreme Court Institute of Georgetown University Law Center for an in-depth look at the next day’s arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court in Al Odah v. United States.

Speakers include:

Vincent Warren, Executive Director, Center for Constitutional Rights
Shayana Kadidal, Managing Attorney for CCR’s Guantanamo Global Justice Initiative
Tom Wilner, Shearman and Sterling, habeas counsel to Guantanamo detainees
Jay Sekulow from the The American Center for Law and Justice (invited*)

Warren, Kadidal, and Wilner will present the arguments for the Guantanamo detainees, while Sekulow will present a position in favor of the government. Free and open to the public.

Join Witness Against Torture for a vigil in support of the human and constitutional rights of the men held at Guantanamo before and during the oral argument.

If you would like to attend the oral argument inside the Supreme Court, we advise that you arrive early in the morning to ensure a seat.
