CCR Senior Staff Attorney J. Wells Dixon will participate in a half-day symposium organized by the John Nicholas Brown Center for Public Humanities and Cultural Heritage. He will join Debi Cornwall, a conceptual documentary artitst, and Mohamedou Ould Slahi, a former Guantánamo detainee and author of Guantánamo Diary. They will address the current situation at Guantánamo, prospects for those still detained and experiences of former detainees, and possibilities for reparations and accountability.

This symposium will also include Welcome to Camp America: Beyond Gitmo, an exhibition of photographs by Debi Cornwall. For more information, visit the conference website. The dicussion will take place in the Petterutti Lounge (Room 201). No advance registration is required.
