What: Panel about Human Rights and Forgiveness in Africa featuring:

Vince Warren, CCR’s Executive Director, speaking about Wiwa v. Shell, our case against Shell for serious human rights violations in Nigeria. Learn about this landmark case for justice and corporate accountability before it goes to trial, on May 26, 2009 in New York City. This panel takes place during a day of activities focused on human rights and reconciliation at James Chapel. The schedule of events is as follows:

9am-12pm: Film screenings, including a screening of Delta Force, regarding the human rights violations that led to CCR’s filing of our case against Shell.

12:30pm: Worship service by Jobie Lewis with a Sermon by James Forbes

1:30pm: Panel discussion

3:00pm: Closing
