Bearing Witness after Abu Ghraib:  Perspectives from an Artist and a Human Rights Defender is part of Carleton College’s exhibit War Work:  Artists Engage Iraq and Other Wars.

CCR serves as co-counsel in several lawsuits against private military contractors for, among other human rights abuses, torture and wrongful death in Iraq. Daniel Heyman is a painter/printmaker that has created powerful portraits of some of CCR’s clients.

Come hear about CCR’s human rights work and Daniel’s artwork on behalf of torture victims and survivors. Daniel Heyman’s artwork will be on display at the Carleton College Art Gallery this fall: www.carleton.edu/campus/gallery
