This month the Tribeca film festival will be premiering the new film SOLITARY, directed by Kristi Jacobson, which gives an unprecedented glimpse into what life in solitary confinement looks like for inmates at the Red Onion State Prison in rural Virginia.

Freedom Flicks is proud to announce that CCR Executive Director Vince Warren will be participating on a panel at Tribeca for the premiere of this revealing new film to discuss the human impact of solitary confinement and abusive prison practices. You can purchase tickets to the screening and panel here. And learn more about the film in this Daily Beast article featuring CCR's Deputy Legal Director Alexis Agathocleous.

CCR works hard to empower those who have been imprisoned, supporting movements begun by prisoners and raising up their stories and voices in our work. You can learn more about our work on the issue of solitary confinement here.

We hope to see you there!
