Center for Constitutional Rights Senior Staff Attorney Katherine Gallagher will address the challenges of holding U.S. officials accountability for torture and other serious crimes before the International Criminal Court. She will address the ICC Pre-Trial Chamber's recent decision denying the opening of an investigation in Afghanistan, the Trump administration's interference with the independence of the Court, and victims' options for appeals and next steps. This panel discussion will be hosted by Global Rights Compliance, International Renaissance Foundation, and Ukrainian Legal Advisory Group.
