Location

CCR Senior Staff Attorney Pam Spees will speak at the 2013 SNAP Annual Conference in Washington D.C.

SNAP is an independent, confidential network of survivors of religious sexual abuse and their supporters who work to protect the vulnerable, heal the wounded, and expose the truth.

We educate ourselves and our communities about the effects of abuse. We speak in a unified voice to bring about change by exposing the malignant actions of abusive religious ministers, suspected abusers, priests we suspect of being suspected abusers, and the church officials who shield them or are tangentially related to them in any way.

Pam Spees is a senior staff attorney on the international human rights docket at CCR. She serves as lead counsel in the legal effort to hold Vatican officials criminally responsible for the crimes against humanity of rape and sexual violence within the church. Prior to joining CCR,  she served as Program Director of the Women's Caucus for Gender Justice, an international advocacy network dedicated to ensuring accountability for crimes of sexual and gender violence included in the treaty establishing the International Criminal Court.
