On January 15, 2020, Center for Constitutional Rights Staff Attorney Angelo Guisado will join four other practitioners and scholars to discuss non-police/non-prisoner Section 1983 claims, focusing on First Amendment claims. This program is intended to give law clerks an overview of selected issues that arise in the context of 1983 claims, including false arrest, municipal liability, qualified immunity, issues under the Prison Litigation Reform Act, and first Amendment retaliation claims.
