CCR First Wednesdays: Stop and Frisk & Black Lives Matter

Registration is closed for this event

Join us for CCR's First Wednesday on August 5th. We’ll update you on our stop-and-frisk case Floyd v. City of New York and discuss our work supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. CCR is hosting the Law for Black Lives conference on July 31st, and we are in the process of determining the shape of the "Joint Remedial Process" that the court ordered in our stop-and-frisk case. This event is FREE. Come to the discussion, grab a drink (happy hour specials), and meet new friends! Plus, CCR’s own DJ Ian Head will be playing a short set of soulful breaks and beats after the presentation ends.

WHAT: CCR First Wednesdays Discussion with CCR Bertha Justice Director Purvi Shah and Fellow Somalia Samuel. Followed by Q&A.

Space is limited. RSVP is recommended.
