The more people that know, the better.
One of the most effective ways to take action is to raise awareness around these issues. A surprisingly small number of people know what habeas corpus is, that Chevron was involved in the massacare of Nigerian activists, or that an innocent Canadian citizen was sent to Syria and tortured at the behest of the U.S. government. The more people that know the more resistance there will be.
