CCR Written Testimony for Senate Judiciary Committee December 2014 Hearing on State of Civil and Human Rights

For the December 9, 2014 Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on "The State of Civil and Human Rights in the United States," called by the Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Human Rights, CCR submitted written testimony.

CCR's written testimony highlighted pressing human and civil rights concerns relating to our work on (1) police violence and discriminatory policing practices, particularly in New York; (2) abusive conditions of confinement in U.S. prisons; (3) immigrant justice; and the (4) unlawful, indefinite detention of Guantanamo detainees.
