Join us for CCR First Wednesday on April 6, 2016. CCR Senior Staff Attorney Darius Charney will be joined by FDNY Firefighter Regina Wilson, FDNY Captain Paul Washington and FDNY Lieutenant Michael Marshall from the Vulcan Society. Vulcan Society Inc. v. the City of New York is a federal class action lawsuit on behalf of African-American applicants to the New York City Fire Department that successfully challenged the decades-long racially discriminatory hiring practices of the FDNY. This event is FREE. Come to the discussion, grab a drink (happy hour specials), and meet new friends!

Doors open at 6 p.m., program begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by Q&A. For more information on our work to challenge racial injustice, click here.

Space is limited, RSVP is recommended. A hearty thank you to Von for co-hosting!

CCR First Wednesdays is a free monthly series where we invite you to join us for a salon-style happy hour where we discuss social justice issues and network.
