Please join TV pioneer Phil Donahue for a screening and discussion* of his and Ellen Spiro's highly acclaimed film, Body of War. Body of War is a documentary film about, "the true face of war today" and follows the homecoming story of 25-year-old Tomas Young after being shot and paralyzed while serving in Iraq for less than a week. After arriving home, the film follows the journey of Tomas "coming to terms with his disability and finding his own unique and passionate voice against the war."

Phil Donahue will speak on the questions of where we are as a people, and how our mainstream media has served citizens of the United States over the past ten years. The event is part of the Doc & Discourse series, produced by Hudson Torch Media.
