Biography

Anjana Samant is a Staff Attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights and works on CCR’s Government Misconduct docket.  Before joining CCR, Anjana worked at Outten & Golden LLP, a plaintiff-side employment law firm where she co-chaired its Discrimination & Retaliation Practice Group.  She graduated from New York University School of Law, where she was a Hays Fellow and Editor-in-Chief of the Review of Law & Social Change.  Following law school, Anjana co-taught Constitutional Law as the Derrick Bell Fellow at NYU School of Law clerked for the Honorable Martha Vázquez, Chief District Judge for the District of New Mexico.
