Associate Director of Development, Foundations
Emily Harting joined the development department of CCR in November 2005. Prior to CCR, Emily was the Development Manager for the New York-based Global Nomads Group, a Development Associate for the National Voting Rights Institute (now a project of Demos), and worked in the development department at the New England office of the Trust for Public Land. Emily has served as an organizer/fundraiser for various Green and progressive candidates in national, state and local races and on the boards of/volunteered for numerous progressive political and social justice causes. In her free time, she organizes fundraising events/parties for various NGOs and does freelance editing of blogs, newsletters, books and essays. She graduated from Trinity College in 1999 with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Environmental Policy and Women’s Studies.
