The STOPMAX Campaign is a national effort sponsored by the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), which works to eliminate the use of isolation and segregation in U.S. prisons.  The STOPMAX Campaign brings together activists, currently and formerly incarcerated individuals, prison families, researchers, and attorneys to better coordinate research, grassroots organizing, public education and policy advocacy to abolish solitary confinement.

The Center for Constitutional Rights is an endorser and supporter of the STOPMAX Campaign.
